There's even an argument to be made for this revamped classic fighter being one of the best games on Game Pass, especially with somewhat limited competition in the genre there. Honestly, it's worth playing just for the over-the-top characters and supers, so the fact that it comes with a reasonable completion estimate of 15-20 hours is just the icing on the cake. It's pretty easy to play (and a lot of crazy fun) and most achievements are for solo content you can tackle how you like, with only one difficulty-related achievement on the list and three online ones (two of which are very easy to boost if you want them out of the way quickly). All-Star Battle R isn't too demanding a completion by fighting game standards. a neat little touch and something that a few other supers replicate under certain conditions. Better yet, an opposing Jotaro can mitigate damage with their own meter burn attack to alter the super's ending with a new sequence reflecting what actually happened in the series. Featuring simple and spectacular gameplay, CyberConnect2’s game still lacks today in terms.

It's quite remarkable - a brilliant reference for fans of the series but still an wonderfully crazy spectacle if you've got no idea what is going on. Addressed to the fans of Hiroiko Arakis manga, JoJos Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R is marked by strengths and weaknesses of the title dated 2014, only proposing small adjustments certainly not able to change the original judgment. In a callback to one of the chapter's big showdowns, he uses his Stand, The World, to freeze time, before leaping away to grab a steamroller from somewhere, which he slams into the opponent and pummels until it explodes, yelling the whole while. Many of these reference highlights from the series, with arguably the best of the bunch belonging to the Stardust Crusaders arc's DIO. Each character has several super attacks, and while the simpler Heart Heat Attacks (HHAs) tend to be a little more reserved (especially by JoJo standards), some of the epic Great Heat Attacks (GHAs) are absolutely absurd in the best possible way.
